YVOS Fall 2026 Session Begins!

The Young Voices of Science (YVoS) program is excited to kick off its Fall 2026 session, welcoming 25 new students for an introductory and orientation workshop to get the ball rolling on what we hope will be another outstanding session of science communication training! Over the coming weeks, participants will participate in a variety of workshops led by expert communicators in their respective fields, develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence to share their science with the world and engage meaningfully with broader audiences.

Since its inception, YVoS has served 311 students from 151 unique academic institutions across 37 U.S. states, Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico, and 18 countries around the world. This fall, we are excited to welcome our first participants representing Maryland, Oklahoma, and South Dakota, as well as our first students from Brazil and India. We look forward to seeing what this new cohort accomplishes as they build their skills as science communicators and bring their research, ideas, and perspectives to new audiences!
