Spring 2026 Project Showcase

HBRF’s Young Voices of Science (YVoS) program recently concluded its 12th session for the Spring of 2026. This cohort included 26 participants representing 25 institutions across the United States, Chile, England, Guatemala, Mexico, and Peru. During the final project showcase on May 7, participants presented an inspiring and diverse range of outreach projects—including op-eds, articles, zines, videos, infographics, social media campaigns, collages, and story maps—putting their science communication skills into practice in real-world settings while gaining confidence and experience engaging general audiences with science.

Since its inception, the YVoS program has served 286 students from 134 unique academic institutions in the U.S. (35 States, DC and Puerto Rico), Australia, Canada, Chile, China, Ecuador, England, Germany, Guatemala, Mexico, New Zealand, Panama, Peru, Philippines, Portugal, Scotland and Taiwan!

Stay tuned for specific information on each stellar outreach project as it comes out, which can be found in the Outreach Projects section of the website!
