Kimberly Navarro-Velez – Fall 2021

How Did I Become a Scientist: Stories of Women in Science by Kimberly Navarro-Velez.

For her outreach project, Kimberly conducted interviews and created a video series titled “How did I become a Scientist, Stories of Women in Science”. These interviews were conducted with outstanding women in STEM related careers, with the overall goal to inspire future generations of young women to pursue STEM careers.

These interviews culminated into a 3 video series, each video targeted towards a specific age group (Elementary-Middle School, High School-College, College-Graduate Students), each made to inform and inspire many different generations of future women scientists.
