Robin Pitilon – Spring 2022

For his YVoS outreach project, Robin wrote an emotionally connected op-ed about the importance of protecting migratory birds, weaving in his experience with working at a local bird banding station in Florida. The op-ed is out for submission, with the overall goal of raising awareness for migratory bird protection and also celebrating World Environment Day.

Robin Pitilon is an Audubon Florida Conservation Leadership Initiative alum and will be researching urban ecology through a National Science Foundation Research Experience for Undergraduates at the University of Central Florida.

Stay tuned for the full op-ed once it has been published!
