Climate Change and Tree Physiology Teaching Module.
For her outreach project, Alley is planning to create a teaching module on tree physiology and climate change, with the possibility of presenting this module as a guest lecture in an undergraduate tree biology course, as well as a module for high school students.
Alley is a masters student at the University of New Hampshire, working on a project to study the compounded effects of heat and drought on tree species in the Northeast. Her teaching module will be based on her current research and will relate her work to climate science education.
