Mohamed Elgallad is a lab manager in a pre-PhD program at Louisiana State University and participant in the current Spring 2026 YVoS program.
As part of his outreach project, Mohamed focused on science outreach through photography on platforms like Instagram and LinkedIn, creating IbisbytheDelta, a social media account featuring his own stunning nature photography, with the goal of highlighting native species from the southern US and promoting awareness of invasive species in a way that is both visually engaging and scientifically informative.
He recently had the opportunity to showcase his photography in the LSU College of Science Biological Sciences Department LAGNiAppE program art exhibit. Congratulations to Mohamed on being featured in the exhibit, and we look forward to more amazing science communication and photography from him!
