Marine Plastic Pollution: We’re Not Off the Hook Yet <\/em>by Kennedy McGrath.<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n

Kennedy, an undergrad student at the University of New Hampshire and member of the YVoS Spring 2022 cohort, wrote a compelling op-ed about Marine Plastic Pollution in New Hampshire and across New England for her outreach project. Her op-ed was accepted and published by the Concord Monitor<\/a><\/strong> in June of 2022, strategically submitted and published before summer beach season began in New Hampshire. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kennedy is an active member of the New Hampshire Plastics Working Group, which works to address the intersectionality of climate change, human health, environmental justice, waste management, and pollution aspects of plastics and the petrochemical industry.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n
